Pettit Family Pictures 2009

So much to be THANKFUL for!

What a wonderful week I was able to have...I got to spend time with my family and some old friends in California and then came home to celebrate a fantastic Thanksgiving with the Pettit's!

Ann was so amazing! She made the entire Thanksgiving meal...she refused to let Devrie and I bring a thing. She even provided us with kits to make our very own Gingerbread houses. (Devrie missed this photo-op.)

Derek and I had so much fun sitting with our niece Malia at the dinner table. This was Malia's first Thanksgiving. Her parents are celebrating their 10th anniversary in Argentina this week so she got to join us! I even fed her a roll which was her very first bite of "real" food! (I hope that is okay Elaine;))

She ABSOLUTELY loved it! (haha...don't worry I didn't let her eat it like this...this was just for the photo!)



The Beck's joined us for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was truly the most delicious Thanksgiving dinner I have had! THANK YOU ANN!!!

Below are several pictures of the San Francisco Farmer's Market. We spent at least 2 hours sampling, looking, and buying fresh produce from the Farmer's Market.

I could spend every Saturday there. It was a gorgeous day too.

I am so THANKFUL for my family!

I LOVE Fall!!!

I am just so HAPPY that this FALL weather is sticking! I think that this is the first time since I have lived in Utah (going on 7 years!) that it has ever been in the 60's the first week of November!

I AM SO IN LOVE!!! Happy November everyone:)

The Long Awaited Debut of the Thriller Dance Done By Kate's Classroom

Kate's 2nd grade class (and their sixth grade buddies) have been practicing this for over a month now and they did a great job! Sorry about the bad camera angle. We may update this tomorrow night.

Quality Time

Is there nothing better than.....

QUALITY TIME???

Let me know if you think of something.

I mean to spend two hours with a friend eating dinner and just catching up...to which leads into a quite spiritual, heart-warming conversation.

OR

To lay in bed at night with your hubbie just chatting, laughing, or talking his ear off while he sleeps.

OR

To spend an hour on the phone with your best friend talking about one random thing to the next.

OR

To sneak into the other room while your hubbie is sleeping and sit against the wall reading an AWESOME Ensign article and thinking to yourself how grateful I am for this Gospel.

OR

Being able to bake delicious pumpkin cookies for yourself and your neighbors just because.

OR

Just to have an hour of NOTHING!

Granted...I don't have children yet, but THIS "quality time" is tough for anyone to come by.

It was sure nice being able to spend some Q.T. with these two special friends who came from Australia and stayed with us for 14 days.

Thanks Joel and Sam---we had a blast with you and can't wait to visit you down under!
